There are plenty of Idaho sports to take part in. The most well known sports team in Idaho would be the Boise State Broncos, the college football team of Boise State University. Whether you are an avid watcher of the Broncos, or have only caught a game or two, you’ll know that it is almost always time well spent. When you become part of the Idaho community, especially in Boise, it’s hard not to develop a sense of Bronco Pride. Their games are usually accompanied with tailgate parties, great food and a great time.

Looking to show off your athleticism? Then you have still come to the right place. Skiers and snowboarders from across the country, and sometimes the world, come to Idaho for the stupendous slopes. Bogus Basin in Boise, Tamarack in McCall and Sun Valley, to name a few, are great places for winter fun. The McCall Winter Carnival, which lasts a week and a half every January into February, is a community event that has existed in some incarnation since 1924. In recent years, the Winter Carnival has included music, parades, fireworks, and an incredible ice statue contest. It’s a fabulous way to enjoy McCall's snowy winters. In the summer though, people who live in the Treasure Valley have the opportunity to attend the Boise Music Festival. The festival is twelve hours of incredible musical performances by some of the hottest artists of today.  

Fairs and carnivals like the ones in McCall and Boise are just a taste of the many fun events that happen in Idaho. You’ll never know what you’ll find when you buy a home or land in Idaho.
