In Apple Creek, for example, you will be able to find a home with a warm color scheme, likely made with wood and stone materials. Houses in this subdivision have interior features that appeal to a relaxed, modern lifestyle. This could include skylights, spacious bedrooms, stone fireplaces, high ceilings, granite counter tops, and other luxurious features.

Other home neighborhoods also hold a certain enticement. Echo Creek, for example, has homes that were build in the mid-1990s with a floor plan optimal for efficiency. An Echo Creek home has a delightful charm, and some come with hardwood floors and granite countertops. From the eye-catching waterfall at the entrance of this neighborhood to the local park within, this is a pleasing neighborhood with homes for sale.

Parks

Another reason Eagle is such an agreeable city is the amount of parks that have been constructed there. Outdoor spaces like Guerber Park are a great place to spend the afternoon. This particular park has an interactive water feature, and often people go to this park to cool off on a hot summer day. This park also includes a playground, Little League Facilities, and picnic locations.

Eagle Sports Complex, on the other hand, has a 12,500 square feet skateboard park - used by both amateurs and professionals alike. This park also includes a large BMX course and biking trails.

Arboretum Park is a different type of park. This living museum is an informal botanical garden, which exhibits thirty seven species of trees, flowers, and other plants. This lovely park is open to the public year round to enjoy the various flora that grows there.

Other city parks include Friendship Park and Tennis Court, Reid W. Merrill Sr. Community Park, and Oval Krasen Park.

Probably the most recognized park in Eagle is the Eagle Island State Park. This 545 acre state park in Southern Eagle attracts both local residents as well as those in nearby cities like Meridian and Boise. Eagle Island Park is a state favorite for many reasons. It is in a convenient location, and relatively isolated from more developed areas. Furthermore, there is such a wide quantity and diversity of things to do there. For example, avid equestrians can explore the many nature trails and pathways throughout the park, which are also open for hiking and biking. However, people can also fish, swim, or float in the large Eagle Island pond.

Events

Eagle has many annual events throughout the year to bring the community together. For example, the Eagle Fun Days festival is held every summer, and true to its name creates all sorts of fun events for visitors. Some of these include live music performances, local food vendors, a town parade, rodeo competition, and the Rocky Mountain Oyster Feed. The festivities last for two days as people from all over the Treasure Valley come to Eagle.

An event that happens weekly in the summer is the Eagle Saturday Market, located in Heritage Park. This event is sponsored by the Eagle Arts Commission, which provides people in the community the opportunity to share handmade arts and crafts as well as homegrown local flowers, produce, and herbs. Performances bring music to the park, adding to the atmosphere of the event.

Surrounding Communities

Living in Eagle does not only give you access to Eagle’s amenities and events but the surrounding cities as well. The Treasure Valley is the highest populated area of Idaho - it has over forty percent of Idaho’s total population - and there are many things to do here.

Eagle residents often take advantage of the shopping, entertainment, and other venues in cities like Boise and Meridian. For instance, people in Eagle can visit The Village at Meridian, a European-styled business center with high-end retail and dining, as well as a beautifully manicured outdoor space between boutiques. Furthermore, Eagle is only ten miles away from the capital city of Boise. This large metropolitan area is filled with both excellent recreational and retail venues, including Boise’s beautiful parks. Julia Davis Park is largely recognized for its riverside access and for housing the Boise Art Museum. This nationally-accredited institution displays artwork from all over the world.

Eagle, Idaho has something for everyone, whether it be strong community ties, local parks, or a more rural environment. No matter who you are, you can find something for you in Eagle Idaho. Start your search right now through the homes for sale Eagle Idaho has to offer.
