Play Outside

Day Temperatures may still be up the last few days of August and into September, but now is the time to get out there and do the fun things you swore you would.

Many folks would agree: now is the most enjoyable time of the year to play outside. Yes, temperatures still frequent to toasty highs throughout August and into early September, but many are beginning to feel the loom of Labor Day – the unofficial end of summer, and realize their last chance to enjoy their favorite outdoor activities are rapidly coming to an end. This category – soaking up as much outdoor time as possible – is definitely the most broad, but arguably the most important. Idaho is an outdoor mecca no matter what time of year it is, but now is the time to really

Roller Coaster

The heavy click-click-click of train cars over tracks grows louder and louder as they climb the steep incline. Each car holds two to four people. The train crawls along the rails like a caterpillar on a vine. High pitched shouts of delight and terror gather over the slowing clicks as the rollercoaster ride reaches its peak. The passengers seem trapped in the sky for a few suspended moments, then the moments pass and the caterpillar takes off on a wild ride. Below the rumbling rollercoaster, booths line the packed walkways. At one you can win a seven foot plush snake for tossing rings on a bottle, at another you can win a ticket to tonight’s magic show for climbing a rickety ladder. Along the walkway, a giant orange cat greets and entertains a willing

Moving Boxes

Chaos, stress, excitement- these feelings come with selling a house. How do you enhance the excitement part of it and lower the chaos and stress? There are so many things to do and seemingly never enough time to accomplish them. One item on the “to do list” is to get your house appraised. You need to know how much your house is worth in the house market of this year. You can not control the housing market but you can get as prepared as possible for your appraisal to help make sense of the chaos that can come with moving.

House Renovations

Many people believe that spending thousands of dollars on upgrades will increase their home value significantly. That is not always true. For example, many people believe that spending lots of money

Autumn Season

September is the ninth month of the year, and as shocking as it is, we've already reached it this sesquicentennial year in Boise, Idaho. September means school is back in session, that the first day of fall is right around the corner, and that we're that much closer to the end of the year.

September, at first glance, is simply just another month out of the year, but there's actually much more to September than you likely ever thought. September begins on the same day of the week as December each and every year, because there are 91 days separating September and December, a multiple of seven (the number of days each week). No other month ever ends on the same day of the week as September. September is the ninth month of the year, but the actual word

Eagle

One of Idaho’s greatest and most memorable features is its beautiful state parks. Idahoans enjoy a home where beautiful landscapes and entertaining outdoor recreation opportunities are literally on their front doorstep. One such park is located in the lap of homes for sale in Eagle Idaho. This is Eagle Island State Park.

Location

Eagle Island State Park gains its name from its location. The Boise River runs to the north and south of the park, effectively transforming the 545 acre strip of land into an inland island. The park is only three miles west of homes for sale in Eagle Idaho, seven miles north of Meridian residences, and eight miles west of Idaho’s capital city, Boise. This makes real estate in the Boise-Nampa metropolitan area, since

River Near a Park

One of the wonderful things about Boise, Meridian, and Nampa – is that there are plenty of spacious, natural green spaces and urban parks to add aesthetic value and create an easy, fantastic way to enjoy the outdoors. The benefits to living near a park are significant – more significant than you likely thought. Conserved public land, such as urban parks and recreational areas, extend many psychological and social benefits to people – and just as important – ensures livable communities and natural places for generations to come. Whether it's a park or a garden, the need to preserve nature is very important, and the Treasure Valley has done well with maintaining natural green areas for both animals and people to enjoy for a long, long time to come.

Nice Two Story House in Fall

Of course, the Idaho real estate market never closes – whether it's fall, winter, summer, or spring – real estate agents are hard at work serving the needs of prospective buyers and sellers. While the best time to make the move into home ownership depends entirely upon the person, autumn does bring its own set of benefits, and some rather nice ones. Autumn is one of the loveliest, most temperate times of the year, even here in Boise, Idaho where we enjoy fairly mild weather patterns the entire year. Change is in the air this time of year, and it can feel like the natural time to change things up a bit – like moving house. So, what about the changing of seasons between September and October that make it such an exciting time to buy a house? What makes

In Boise, Idaho, it's a lovely season, with cooler temperatures beginning to settle in along with pleasant breezes tempered by our high desert climate.
